ARTware MonDriaNoid is another series of clock-based LWP (the previous ones were already reviewed here), and this one is interesting, as it's a series of sliding bars.

The odd part... When installed, the name is actually ARTware MonDroid (they can't decide on the name)

Disease Propagation LWP is a simulation of how disease spread... healthy becomes sick, sick then recover. It's an interesting view of how the different nodes change colors from one to next. If you don't know it's scientific you'd just think it's something like Christmas lights.

Chinese Chess is a variant of the classic chess. And this free app, with a TINY footprint, actually plays a pretty mean game. You can do the typical save, undo, and such.

If you are interested in learning a new strategy game, try it. If you are a fan of Chinese chess, you need to get this.

Pixel Art Clock Widget is an Isometric Looking clock that takes up 4x1 spaces on your desktop. And that's all it really does. There's no color options or other goodies. Hoever, if you have something isometric looking, it may fit in pretty well.

AAQR: Chomp

Image via WikipediaChomp is yet another attempt to demystify Android Market, similar to AppBrain, but improves it by creating "lists" of apps that fits popular searches, like "expense trackers", "todo lists", "puzzle games", and so on.

You can browse a few of the popular searches, or enter your own. When you pick a list you get 10 hits that fit the search topic. You are also encouraged to rate the titles so Chomp can recommend better.

This won't replace Appbrain, but it should add to it somewhat.

AAQR: Birds Live Wallpaper Free (U)

Birds Live Wallpaper is similar to "Flock" on PC, where flock behavior is simulated. This one however, adds some predators, which makes for interesting movements. However, there are a few glitches. In a few instances, the birds (both predator and prey) are just stuck. It's also graphically a bit plain.

AAQR: Perfect Viewer

Perfect Viewer was designed as a manga/comic viewer on Android but evolved into a more general picture viewer. And it is quite impressive.

There is minimal buttons on screen. Instead, you can pop up an overlay which tells you what area of screen to touch to do certain things. And there are A LOT of options, including zoom or not, what sort of resize algorithm to use (which affects speed/quality trade-off), and much more.

If you don't do a lot of image viewing this is probably of little use to you, but if you do use a lot of images, this is worth checking out.

Ultra Voice Changer lets you record some short audio, then apply various effects to it, like chipmunk, alien, metallic / robot, and more.

This one comes with about a dozen effects (some are just variations). You can send it via SMS or such. It's pretty interesting to play with. You get more if you pay for the deluxe version.

NOTE: This cannot be used to disguise your voice calls.

This LWP takes the time, hashes a color code out of it, and sets that as the background color.

Is it interesting? Sort of. I guess if you got used to it you can guess the hour from the background color, but why?
